Canadian
Education Alliance hosted Study in Canada Mini Fairs and
Canada Festivals in autumn!
Canada Festivals are fun events that introduce Canadian
culture, education, tourism, cuisine and industry and allow
visitors to meet with Canadians and Japanese people (and
people from other nations) who have lived in Canada. It is
free of charge to participate and visitors have chances to win
prizes such as Study in Canada prizes and Canadian goods.
Study in Canada Fairs and Mini Fairs allow visitors to meet
Canadian educators directly and discuss study in Canada
programs. It is free of charge to participate and visitors
have chances to win prizes such as Study in Canada Prizes.
Canadian Education Alliance successfully hosted a Study in
Canada Fair in Nagoya on November 5th
Canadian Education Alliance successfully hosted a Canada
Festival in Fukuoka on November 7th.

October 2010 Canadian Festivals |
Canada Festivals are fun events that introduce Canadian
culture, education, tourism, cuisine and industry and allow
visitors to meet with Canadians and Japanese people (and
people from other nations) who have lived in Canada. It is

held the following Canada Festivals this year:
October 23: Tokyo, at the Tokyo Hilton Hotel, 13:00 to
17:00
October 24: Osaka, at the ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel, 13:00
to 17:00

Global Career/Study Abroad Fair:
June 2010 |
On Saturday, June 19, CEA assisted with the
Study Abroad Fair hosted by The Japan Times.
In addition to schools from Canada, schools
from the US, UK, Australia and Spain also
participated. Snacks from each country were
served while participants received
counselling to help them achieve their
future goals. The
schools from Canada that participated were
VanWest College, Comox Valley International
College and UBC Continuing Studies.
Ryo Takahashi from Tokyo
was the lucky winner of the 4-week study in
Canada prize!
The next study abroad fair
will be held in October. Details will be
posted here at a later date.

Study in Vancouver (British Columbia Canada) Fairs:
March 2010 |
The Canadian
Education Alliance (CEA) presented Study in Vancouver (British Columbia
Canada) Fairs in Japan in March of 2010. Representatives from
British Columbian educational institutions
were on hand at the fairs to introduce their institutions. (Translators
were available.)
In addition, there were briefing sessions for guests, special goods available
and a chance to win a free trip to Canada.

October 24, 2009 the Canadian Education Alliance (CEA) and the
Kansai Canada Business Association hosted the first annual
"Canada Festival" at the ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel in Osaka.
The Festival included the following Canadian and
Canada-related exhibiting and supporting groups:

It was a very fun and successful event that was held on the
first anniversary of the donation of the Inukshuk to the
